Persian rugs stacked in the Baroncelli showroom

Our story

Since the late 1960s, in Quarrata.

More than half a century of passion for art, interiors and fashion: the story of a company that brought oriental rugs and handcrafted furs into homes, villas and hotels across Tuscany.

Milestones

A path built on trust.

“Rugs are furnishing pieces that define the style of every home.”

    Late 1960s

    Precious furnishing fabrics

The company began as a wholesaler of precious furnishing fabrics. That first trade shaped the eye for the quality of fibres, colours and workmanship that still guides every selection today.

  2. '70s

    1970s

Journeys to the East and furs

Journeys to the East brought the import of authentic oriental rugs, chosen directly where they were made. In the same years the company entered the fur trade and began designing and making fur garments.
